O’keefe Street, Wooloongabba

The O’keefe Street project was a comprehensive scaffolding job that saw Newnham Scaffolding project manage, design, supply and install scaffolding for 91 apartments across eight storeys. Newnham’s skilled team fitted scaffolding to the building’s perimeter, lift shaft, loading bays, stretcher stair accesses, handrail and roof edges. Despite the challenges of a tight time-frame and a cramped building site, (the building faces a major road to the south and a train line to the north), Newnham kept the project moving forward and on schedule. Newnham supplied all labour, transport and scaffolding, keeping in front of the head contractor and delivering the manpower and expertise to perform the job. The project was completed safely and on-time and the client was thrilled with the final job. Newnham has worked with Tomkins Commercial on several other contracts since O’keefe Street was built.
