The Saint Andrews Uniting Church is a heritage listed Church that had its roof damaged in November 2014 by Hail, rain and wind. The slate roof needed to be repaired and replaced several areas on the church roof. Due to the church location on the corner of Creek and Ann Street, Brisbane City we had to build and dismantle the job on night shift. We supplied the transport, scaffolding and engineering to perform the job. We built the scaffolding to act as access and roof edge protection, we also built a gantry for pedestrian overhead protection. This is the second heritage listed church that Newnham Scaffolding has completed for NPS commercial due to the 2014 storms.
