Industrial Projects
Arrow Energy
Newnham has an ongoing contract with Arrow Energy to supply Arrow with custom-made scaffolding material and experienced labour services.
Oxley Water Treatment Plant
The Oxley Water Treatment Plant project required Newnham’s crew to install tailored scaffolding in a range of confined spaces. Monadelphous contracted Newnham to supply, transport and fit quality working platforms to ensure safe access to a number of tanks throughout the water treatment plant.
Engineering Applications
As part of the Engineering Applications project, Newnham’s seasoned crew travelled to Gove in the Northern Territory to build hung, cantilevered and drop scaffolding during scheduled shutdowns.
Commercial Projects
Nicholson Street Specialist Centre
The Nicholson Street Specialist Centre has added an additional 30 medical consulting suites to the Greenslopes Private Hospital. This project was completed successfully by Kane Constructions Pty Ltd and was our first job together.
Citro Apartments West End
The Citro Apartments is 7 storey’s high with rooftop pool and entertaining, it has a mixture of 1, 2 bedroom units in West End, Brisbane. Newnham Scaffolding was contracted by Sommer and Staff to complete all scaffolding requirements.
Augustus Residences
Augustus Residences in Toowong is a boutique 8 story apartment building with roof top pool and facilities. This project was built by Tomkins Commercial and Industrial Builders and contracted Newnham Scaffolding to complete scaffolding package.
Regis Aged Care, Lutwyche
Regis Lutwyche is a large Aged Care facility on Perry Street, Lutwyche. Newnham Scaffolding was contracted by Badge Constructions Builders to complete the entire scaffolding package.
Sinnamon Village Aged Care Stage 1
Sinnamon Village Stage One is a large aged care facility being built by FKG. The project consisted of 6 buildings that were all under construction at once, all at various stages and up to 5 stories high, including a large carpark.
Harper on Hamilton
Harper on Hamilton in Chermside is 8 story’s high with 1 and 2 bedroom units. Newnham Scaffolding was contracted by Tomkins Commercial and Industrial Builders to complete all scaffolding requirements.
Brisbane Markets Carpark
Brisbane Markets Carpark was constructed by Watpac in 2017, it is a large 3 level carpark. Newnham Scaffolding, supplied scaffolding, labour and transport.
Colton Ave Stage 3
A 5 storey apartment block we have scaffolded for Condev in Colton Ave, Lutwyche in the past 3 years. All 3 developments have been a great success.
Mercedes-Benz Showroom
Mercedes-Benz Brisbane is a permanent pop up showroom plus café and restaurant occupying 4 levels on the existing building on Adelaide Street, Brisbane.
Ivory Apartments
Ivory Apartments is 7 storey’s high with 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units. Newnham Scaffolding was contracted by Sommer and Staff to complete all scaffolding work.
Bohemia West End
Bohemia West End is a 8-storey apartment building with roof top facilities. Sommer and Staff engaged Newnham Scaffolding to complete the job.
Holland Park View Apartments
Holland Park View Apartments consist of two buildings, one 3 story and one 5 story with roof top entertaining.
Scaffolding Birdcage
Newnham Scaffolding supplied scaffolding, labour and transport to complete a 20m wide by 50m long by 13m high Birdcage inside the Sunnybank Hills Shoppingtown.
Soko Apartments, West End
Soko Waterfront Apartments in West End is an 8 story apartment building with 2 levels of Basement, it has 120 apartments and is situated on the Brisbane River.
Demolition of Northcliffe Terrace Building
Northcliffe Terrace building was a 7 story apartment building that was demolished to make way for a new development.
Willow Apartments
Willow Apartments is 8 storeys high in the heart of Kangaroo Point.
St Andrews
The Saint Andrews Uniting Church is a heritage listed Church that had its roof damaged in November 2014 by Hail, rain and wind.
Madison on High
The scope of work for this Gold Coast scaffolding project covered scaffolding to the perimeter, internal lift shaft, access, loading bays stretcher stairs and roof protection.
Vicinity Apartments
The Vicinity Apartments is 13 levels high with 88 units. Newnham Scaffolding, supplied scaffolding, labour and transport to manage the entire scaffolding package.
Newport Hamilton Reach
Newport, Hamilton Reach is a 5 story building with 34 luxury apartments on the Brisbane River constructed by Tomkins Commercial and Industrial builders.
Annexe Apartments
The Annexe Apartment is a 9 level high with 81 units. Newnham Scaffolding supplied scaffolding, labour and transport to manage the entire scaffolding package.
Energex Refurbishment
The refurbishment of Energex substation was a high security and highly complex job completed for FKG and Energex.
Orion Apartments
The Orion Apartment project required Newnham’s professional scaffolding services throughout the building’s 11 storeys.
O’keefe Street, Wooloongabba
The O’keefe Street project was a comprehensive scaffolding job that saw Newnham Scaffolding project manage, design, supply and install scaffolding for 91 apartments across eight storeys.
Yeronga Village 4
Condev Construction contracted Newnham Scaffolding to provide scaffolding services for the Yeronga Village project.
Civil Projects
Brisbane City Ferry Terminal Replacement
Working at height above water was the primary risk when Newnham’s multi-skilled team provided customised and innovative scaffolding support to the Brisbane City Ferry Terminal Replacement project.
Dakabin Road Bridge
The Dakabin Road Bridge project required Newnham Scaffolding’s experienced team to design, source, and construct specifically engineered falsework scaffolding for the bridge’s headstocks.
Geebung Rail Station Upgrade
Newnham Scaffolding’s team worked diligently to safely fit falsework scaffolding during construction of the overpass bridge at Brisbane’s Geebung Train Station.
